We played these trax in the local clubs in West Palm and Port St Lucie and we got a really good response from the crowd. After hearing the hook once, the next time it came around they were ready for it. It reminded me of a Luke Skyywalker video from back in the day. The high end was a little too loud… that’s why we take the music to a club, to get an idea how it’s gonna sound. With the technology we have today, it’s not that hard to get it sounding right. Or pretty damn close. The trick is to get the DJ to play the track for you to be able to evaluate the mix. Most DJs don’t want to ruin their set by playing a new song and losing their crowd.
