Cloverfield

Cloverfield was born 1966 in Nürnberg, Germany. With the age of four years he attended classical piano school and did more musical studies until 1988. When he turned twenty, he left the classical sector and began to play dixieland, pop and rock in several cover bands and toured through Germany and Switzerland.
After the “Tour-Years“ he discovered his passion for the electronic and more experimental music. He wanted to create a different sound never heard before. So he started an additional career as a Solo Studio Artist. In the years after 2000 he did a lot of studio works, but no releases were published until 2009.
The years passed, the technology grew faster and finally Cloverfield discovered “his“ technology which gave him the sound he ever was searching for.
His first release was published in the Summer of 2009 and the first Clubs played his music. Cloverfield himself was never seen as a DJ in a club. He creates his music always in the studio, because his arrangements and electronic instruments (mostly software based synths) are too complex for solo live
perfomances, He was often asked to play at clubs, but the time seems not ripe yet. In the meantime some of his early tracks found its way on the first longplay album E-Talk which has been released December 2009. On this album you can hear 9 electro and experimental tracks: some tracks are
made with really nice experimental software synthesizers, based on Reaktor and Absynth. Sometimes you can hear some additional acoustic instruments squeezed through heavy filters. The next Maxi releases followed in rather short sequence, some tracks are more progressive house, some
tracks are very experimental and some are chillout tunes. His lounge and chillout tunes can be found under HOT ICE PROJECT.  In 2009 he founded his own label ULTRASONIC Germany. Some tunes can be found on the recommendation list of the music download stores all over the web.
His release HEATWAVE, released in the summer of 2009 can be found in the recommendations (October)
and bestselling charts electro at junodownload.com, the best DJ record store 2007, 2008 and 2009. Some tracks are published exclusively at junodownload.com.
Now in the year 2010 you can find more than 30 tracks of Cloverfield and HOT ICE PROJECT anywhere in the world wide web, most popular in the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, France and the USA and Germany. Cloverfield is also played in webradios all over the world. There is a podcast on itunes called „DjShop.de

His second longplay album UNIVERSE with 13 new house, progressive and electro tracks has been released on the 1st of March 2010.
