WELCOME TO THE NEWEST AND LARGEST UNDERGROUND MUSIC SITE!!

New Underground Music. I've been working on music this week and came up
with some pretty hot trax. I put a couple in the Soundcloud player below. Check
out those trax and let me know what you think. This week ,I worked with
Kace101 on some remixes and that was also pretty cool. Sometimes I wish I
would''ve kept all my old 12"s and old albums, I would be able to do some
serious re-mixing then! Pull out some old stuff! I get a real kick talking to people
and we are talking about a song and they think it's brand new, but it's a
re-make or re-mix of the original. There are so many awesome songs that can
still be played today. It's a wonder why many DJs don't. I notice at a lot of
clubs, when a new song comes on that nobody has heard, the crowd stops
dancing. Most of the time it is the fault of the DJ for not blending the song in
smoothly. He just brings it in. What I see missing from DJs today is they don't
know how to work a crowd. It's hard to explain, but to me it's so simple. It's just
something you can't teach. This isn't for all DJs today, this is just a percentage
of DJs. The DJs that know how to work a crowd know what I'm talking about,
it's seems common sense. Nobody's really trying to break new records, their
skills are so weak that in order to get a crowd moving, they have to play well
known songs remixed into trance or hip-hop versions. We have to start
promoting new music, not relying on the radio to tell us what to play but we as
DJs and Fans of new music tell the radio what to play. That's how it used to be.
If your song was hot in the clubs, it got played on the radio. That's how it needs
to be now! We have to take control and "break" new music. Why are people
gonna go out and hear the same songs they could hear at their house? Give
people something to go out for.
